Our Mission
Our mission is to help single mothers and fathers, immigrants, families, and communities to empower them to raise themselves out of the darkness of poverty by owning their own businesses.
We offer the education needed to learn industrial sewing and by also providing individuals with industrial sewing machines that will enable them to work from home. We will also work with the participants to help them obtain work by partnering them with vendors looking for small batch manufacturing.
The organization is set up to optimize or eliminate childcare costs and totally eliminate commuting costs by working from home.
Sewing Families Together is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
